from the beautiful beach of Bosta, which sites a
reconstructed, fully working Iron Age house and a
Marcus Vergette art installation, The Time & Tide
bell.
The Ard has been
designed with the comfort of guests in mind. It is
both spacious and well equipped and is the perfect
choice for couples or families wanting to 'get away
from it all' and explore the wild and beautiful
islands of the Outer Hebrides.
The house is
located in a stunning setting and to make the most
of this, the living room and kitchen have been
positioned looking out to sea, patio doors lead out
from the living room onto a large decked area which
is furnished with a table and chairs so you can
relax while making the most of the view. |

Cabhalan Cottage
(sleeping six) is a cosy modernised centrally-heated
crofthouse with open fires and four feet thick stone
walls dating from the early 1800s. Set in a
secluded, peaceful and isolated spot 100 metres from
the seashore it enjoys uninterrupted views across
the sea to Skye, the Cuillin Mountains and the west
coast of Scotland.
The nearest house is half a mile
away in each direction and there is a small
sheltered bay with anchorage behind the cottage.
Ideal for viewing seals, otters and seabirds.

the west coast of the Isle of Lewis, Kabuis provides
a
one bedroomed self catering apartment
and a
two bedroom holiday chalet.
Neil and Rhoda's 6-acre croft borders Loch a Bhaile,
where boat and bank fishing are available to guests
- brown trout and, in season, the odd sea trout or
salmon are to be had, with the occasional flounder
to startle the unwary. The whole locality is rich in
wildlife - red-throated divers nest on Loch a Bhaile;
skylarks trill and snipe flutter; through June and
July, the corncrakes boom, and you might even see an
otter. |
