We look forward to welcoming you to have a peaceful self-catering holiday in the ground floor, self contained annexe of our home. Wildlife is abundant around here and only the occasional tractor from our neighbouring farm disturbs the peace.

The accommodation comprises a double bedroom, shower room, a shower with a strong seat and handles, toilet & basin. The lounge / diner is large and well equipped. It has a double sofa bed, comfy chairs, a table with four chairs, a television with DVD player and a music centre. There is no smoking throughout the whole property. We regret no pets as one of us has an allergy. A cot or travel cot with bedding and high chair are available on request.

The kitchen has all facilities - electric cooker, washing machine, fridge / freezer, toaster, microwave, iron & ironing board.

Our family has been holidaying at 'Westdene' for three generations and it just gets better every year! Whatever time you choose to visit this unique part of Suffolk, there is a never ending list of things to do.

For families there's our huge garden and all the attractions of Thorpeness are within walking distance; the Meare, where you can hire boats and explore the many islands, the Windmill, House in the Clouds, tennis courts at the Country Club and of course the beach.

The Golf Club with its challenging 18-hole links course is nearby as is the Dolphin Pub which has a garden and offers great food.

Two miles away is beautiful Aldeburgh, packed with excellent restaurants, shops and the best fish and chips in Suffolk!

This is a large comfortable well appointed Suffolk Tudor Farmhouse, Grade 2 listed, richly endowed with historic medieval features such as oak beams and several inglenook fireplaces.

Our four self catering cottages near Minsmere in Suffolk are situated in a secluded wooded setting on the owner's 70 acre farm in rural Suffolk, a few miles from the glorious Heritage Coastline. Each Cottage sleeps four adults (plus baby) and are set in fully landscaped grounds with mature trees and orchards and has access to an on-site swimming pool and a childrens play barn. An ideal setting for that Suffolk Cottage Holiday near Minsmere, Southwold and the Norfolk Broads.

As a new conversion we have designed The Old Manse Barn to offer contemporary flexible bed and breakfast accommodation. The secluded position with extensive rural views offers a private retreat if you are looking to get away from it all or a  'home from home' if   you are travelling on business.  With its own drive, parking and entrance; you are free to enjoy your stay in privacy. We are happy to help whenever we can and guarantee a friendly welcome.

The King’s Head (The Low House) is one of the very few pubs left in Britain that has no bar-counter. You go in the tap room at the back. Beer drinkers survey the array of barrels and request whatever takes the fancy, drawn straight from the barrel, while others can order whatever you usually have. Before you reach the barrels, you pass through a room dominated by an ancient fireplace. Old settles, polished in parts by the backs and bottoms of the long dead, surround it in a U-shape, with a table in the middle. Another room, also called the tap room, likewise has one large table and bench seats around. This is a social pub. If you want to be slightly less social you can go in the card room, which has small, separate tables and chairs, or the restaurant, but even there you may get into conversation with people to whom you have not been introduced.

2 x suites, (double bedroom/large bathroom/own lounge with TV) in Ranch style bungalow, set in 2 acre garden haven, surrounded by countryside yet close to Town centre (5 mins by car). Nearby Pub/Restaurant (300m off road walk) option for evening meals.
