Cheddar Gorge and the famous caves are only 2 miles by car, or if you prefer, there are plenty of walks that will take you to the gorge via the scenic route, returning by bus if you wish!

Our four star self catering cottages and lodges stand in a tranquil rural setting on the boundary of the Exmoor National Park in a beautiful three acre garden, with outstanding views over wooded slopes of Exmoor. Minehead with its beach, shops, pubs, restaurants and local bus services is only a 20 minute walk.  

This is a small self catering complex set in 3 acres and the holiday accommodation is spaced to allow a level of privacy while still giving the benefits of having help at hand and additional facilities. There is a fully equipped laundry room on site, together with children's play area, putting green and indoor games room with a full size table tennis table, a pool table and table football.  Dogs friendly we accept dogs in some of the lodges by prior arrangement on condition that they are kept on a lead on site and exercised in the dog walk.

Holly Cottage is ideal for a family of four, the second double bedroom, with (adult sized bunk beds) being more suitable for children. A sofa bed in the living room is available for occasional use for two more. Downstairs is an open living/dining room with a cosy wood burning stove, video recorder, digital Freeview TV & radio, DVD, books, games, local maps and guides and a selection of popular films on video, CDs and audio tapes. We have a wireless network for Broadband/Internet connection, which you may access with a wi-fi aerial on your laptop. This leads into a furnished south-west facing conservatory, opening into a totally enclosed large patio garden for barbecue, outdoor dining or reclining. From the patio there is access to a large lawn. A ring binder has details of over 60 places to visit.

Quarme Valley Grange is a traditional Somerset Long House dating back to the early 18th Century and is situated in its own tranquil, undisturbed grounds within The Exmoor National Park.

The Grange has recently been refurbished from a derelict, rambling old farmhouse to a 5 Star Silver rating for the Quality in Tourism Board.

Spectacular views over the Quarme Valley. We are a "non-smoking" establishment and we do not cater for pets at this time.

Our self catering accommodation consists of three one bedroom cottages, Apple Blossom, Cherry Tree and Honeysuckle. They have been converted from what the original barn was used for Spring Cottage when it was a working farm, but now beautifully converted into three self contained cottages, built of local stone, nestling on the South side of the beautiful Mendip Hills.

The park, which is a level 5.5 acre site has new hard standings spaces for up to 200 tourers. All have self trip electric points mounted on top lighted pillars.

Features include a spacious centrally situated toilet block which apart from the normal facilities  includes free showers, shaver and hair drying points, a baby's changing room, a washing up room, a launderette, chemical emptying point and facilities for the disabled.

Glebe House Bed & Breakfast, more recently a church property, originally built in the middle of the 17th Century, was used at various times as a mill. Locally both rope and sailcloth were made. Now restored to a residence with all bedrooms en suite and south facing, with views across the garden and countryside.

Breakfast will include all regional products as well as our own eggs, with a choice of bantam, chicken or duck. Local village baked bread and single variety apple juices are included on the menu.

Elegant, unique, Georgian family house with romantic four poster bedrooms, half testers and a cosy south facing single. We serve mostly organic and fair traded breakfasts until 11.00am. The guest house has a friendly relaxed atmosphere and is situated in a quiet elevated location with about a 20 minute walk down to the city centre. BARN COTTAGE Bed and Breakfast is just off the beaten track in a tiny, rural hamlet. Woolminstone is on the hillside in an AONB overlooking Dorset's highest hills, a couple of miles south of CREWKERNE, South Somerset. Although Barn Cottage is up a very quiet, rural farm lane, the local towns and attractions of East Devon, West Dorset and Somerset are so easy to get to by car or bike.

There is also a "country" bus service along the road at the bottom of the lane and Crewkerne BR railway station is three miles away.

Toomer Farm House is an historic stone Elizabethan Manor House set within a walled garden with ancient carp ponds and a dove cote surrounded by 500 acres of farmland on the Somerset and Dorset Boders. We are situated on the A30, a five minute drive from the ancient town of Sherborne, with its two beautiful castles and abbey, within what is locally know as the Caundells. These are limestone hills surrounding three villages, on the edge of Thomas Hardy country.

The quaint old fashioned charm of this sea-side town and pier help you to unwind and relax in stark contrast to the many busy towns and cities of today. Burnham-On-Sea boast a fantastic coastline to explore and is ideally located for touring the surrounding southwest coastline you can also visit the local area's that are all within easy reach such as Cheddar Gorge, Weston-Super-Mare,Dunster Castle, Longleat, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor and Clarke's Village, and the numerous other attractions of the historic cities of Bath, Bristol and Exeter all of which are in easy reach for a day visit. Exmoor and Dartmoor are both within 2hrs drive by car.

A bit about our Park - We are situated high up overlooking the Somerset Levels, because of this we can not & will not ever flood. The ground is in general 8" of top soil and then onto White Lias Rock, therefore we drain extremely well. Even with all the rain the whole country has been experiencing lately, for our ground we still recommend you bring 'Rock Pegs' (but we do sell them if you forget).

Our Camping / Touring area is open plan with electric hookup's around the edge and none-hookup pitches in the centre. The whole area is set on White Lias Stone and therefore drains extremely well, and it is advisable to bring some rock pegs with you (we also sell them in the shop). Because we are so high up overlooking the Somerset Levels, there is no need to worry about flooding. This area is suitable for Touring Caravans, Tents, Trailer Tents & Motorhomes.
