week. The cottage is available for short breaks
during the low season at very reasonable rates.

The cottage has
2 bedrooms, the front bedroom has a double bed and
overlooks fields and the river.
The bedroom at the
back, which overlooks the garden with views of the
wooded hillside by the river, has full length bunk
beds and a single bed. There is a cot and an extra
person can be accommodated with a folding bed .
Cotton bed linen is provided and towels are
available at a small extra charge.
The upstairs
bathroom has a bath with a hand shower. There is a
fan heater for instant warmth.
The fitted
kitchen has electric oven and hob, fridge and
microwave and there is good selection of cook-ware
and utensils. There is ample tableware for 6 people.
The sitting room
is furnished with 2 cosy sofas and a fold away
dining table and chairs. The wood burning stove
forms an attractive focus for the room. Background
heating for the cottage is provided by storage
radiators. A fold away bed can be used for an extra
guest.
There is terrestrial TV, Video, DVD and CD player
with a radio. |

The Stable has
just been recently renovated, which dates back to
the 19th Centaury. We have kept the old original
beams and exposed them to show the wonderful
character that was used all those years ago and will
last for many more!
It as been
fitted out to a very high standard, having all you
need for a very comfortable stay.
The downstairs
is open plan, the lounge having a Sky TV, with the
dinning room leading to a well equipped kitchen with
a Range Master Cooker, dishwasher, microwave and
fridge/freezer. There’s a utility room with a
downstairs WC.
There is one
double en-suite bedroom with a bath and shower unit
and one twin bedroom also en-suite with a shower
unit.

Country Cottages in the Wye Valley -
Glanhenwye is a four-acre property set
in the Wye Valley near the Black
Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.
Originally Glanhenwye was a farm with
the main house, stone barns, stables and
haylofts set around a cobled courtyard.
In it's present configuration it dates
back to the mid. 1800 and although
typical for the area it was an important
farm in its days.
The
farmhouse is occupied by us Alyson and
Lars and is separated by the courtyard
and gardens from the out buildings,
which are set in an L shape around the
courtyard. The barns and stables have
recently been converted to three, five
star cottages that have been named after
some of the yachts we have worked on
during our previous career in the
super-yacht industry.

Cider Mill at Boatside is situated on
the left bank of the River Wye about one
mile north of the pretty village of
Aberedw. The buildings date from the
early nineteenth century, and until the
1990s had belonged to successive
generations of the Probert family.
The
present owners have restored the near
derelict buildings into two dwellings,
and a ground floor holiday apartment.
This is situated in what was once the
cider mill, where apples from the
adjoining orchard were crushed and made
into cider.
