to Ardochmhor, situated in the Duke of Montrose’s
estate of Buchanan Castle, close to the pretty and
historic village of Drymen, within the Loch Lomond
and Trossachs National Park. This is a house for art
and garden lovers. Long, expansive and colourful and
built on one
level it has a large, secluded garden overlooking
Buchanan Castle Golf Club (visitors welcome). John
is a retired architect and interior designer and
Tessa a District Organiser for Scotland’s Gardens
Scheme and both are delighted to advise guests on
cultural, garden and historical visits and to share
their knowledge of the beautiful area in which they
live.

The Anchorage

historical village of Balloch, lying close to the
shores of Loch Lomond and within Scotland's first
National Park. Situated directly at the mouth of the
loch where it meets the river Leven, the

short distance away from cruises on Scotland's most

The Anchorage is
an ideal stopping off place for visitors standing as
it does at the gateway to the Western Isles. It is

days taking in the wonderful attractions including,
golfing, walking, cycling, fishing, water sports,
sailing, canoeing and boat hire. Horse riding and
pony trekking can be found just outside Balloch. |
