Hillside House is a comfortable converted old farm building, overlooking some of the most beautiful rolling East Leicestershire countryside.

There are three very well-appointed large bedrooms with the usual amenities, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers, colour tv's, radio alarms etc.

The Cottage is run by the owner Helen who strives to make the Guest House a warm and friendly atmosphere for all her Guests. The property built in the late 17 century, was originally four cottages and has bean sympathetically altered to 7 letting bedrooms consisting of 4 en suite and 3 with shared bathrooms.
There is a small Guest kitchen with microwave and fridge in it for those who wish to use it.
There is plenty of car parking behind the premises leading on to a spacious garden which our guests are very welcome to enjoy.
In the Village there is Church of England, Methodist  and Catholic churches. A Museum, Library, Art Gallery, Aero Park, Village Hall, local Cricket & Football matches, Clay Shooting, many walks in open country side, children’s play area and Spital park for the older children. Woody Lodge bed and breakfast is situated in an out of village location close to Prestwold Hall, approached via a private lane.  The Garden Suite comprises of an elegant blue and white ground floor twin/double bedroom, conservatory and private bathroom for comfort and luxury. Completed by its own part of the secluded garden overlooking the pond and lavender terrace for those sunny moments.
