Grafton Villa Farm Cottage |

Grafton, Hereford. |
|

 |
Herefordshire is
truly a rural secret, diverse countryside of wooded
rolling hills to meandering river valleys, the least
populated county in England. Wander along leafy
lanes through productive farmland of rich red soil
to Market towns, Black and White timber villages,
historic churches, border castles, glorious gardens
and of course the Hereford Cathedral with the world
famous Mappa Mundi and Chained Library.
Grafton Villa Farm
lies only two miles from the
Cathedral city of Hereford,
yet is surrounded by an acre of lawns and gardens
with panoramic views across farmland to Dinedor and
Aconbury hill forts, so peaceful and relaxing.
Bill and Jennie
offer guests three gorgeous environmentally friendly
holiday cottages
set within the farmhouse Victorian walled garden.
Herefordshire, the
Wye Valley and the Golden Valley are all very much
unexplored and undiscovered areas of England, hidden
beyond the Cotswolds from London and nestling
against the border of Wales. It is, therefore,
peaceful and picturesque and offers many outdoor
activities with numerous walks through majical
countryside or more challenging hillwalks. Canoeing
on the Wye, quad biking, horse riding across the
Black Mountains plus hang gliding off the Black
Mountainside there is plenty for the most daring or
just meandering through the countryside visit
bustling Market Towns, historic border castles and
glorious gardens. It really is all on Grafton Villa
Farm doorstep! |
