Bashley Park, a
100 acre estate surrounded by trees, is situated on
the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. There are
activities to please everyone, both on-site and
close by, from walks and horse and bike riding in
the forest, to the shows and nightlife in
Bournemouth.
We have four
caravans sleeping from 4 to 6. All have
well-equipped kitchens with microwaves, full sized
cookers and fridges, and have patio furniture and
barbeques for when you prefer to eat outdoors. All
have electric heating throughout, iron, ironing
board and hairdryer. |

is a Grade II Listed Georgian Building, parts of
which are reputed to date back to 1719. The cottage
was previously occupied by
Beatrice Forder and
her sister, Mildred. Beatrice rebound the
Winchester Bible
(currently on display in the Cathedral) into its
present four volumes.
The cottage
accommodation is situated on Chesil Street, an area
of Winchester formerly known as Cheese Hill, just
outside the city walls. From the cottage, you can
see the
Wolvesey Palace and
Wolvesey Castle,
the present and former residences of the Bishop of

semi-detached Forest cottage with delightful views
over farmland towards the open New Forest, which is
only a couple of minutes walk along a footpath
through the fields.
It is only just
over 2 miles from the Georgian sailing town of
Lymington, and slightly less than two from the New
Forest village of Brockenhurst, both of which have
plenty of pubs and restaurants, and of course lots
of shops and other places of interest. Brockenhurst
is on the main line from London Waterloo to
Bournemouth/Weymouth, and is only 1hr.20mins. from
Waterloo. There are several excellent riding
establishments close by where you can arrange a
variety of lessons, or simply lovely hacks out in
the Forest. You can also hire bicycles in
Brockenhurst from a very professional shop providing
a comprehensive service, and we have cover if you
bring your own or keep hired ones overnight. |

Welcome to the
website of The Homestead Bed and Breakfast, a
seventeenth century thatched cottage near the heart
of Ringwood on the edge of the New Forest. Our B&B
offers two en suite double rooms. Full details of
these can be found by linking to our website. The Homestead is an old property
so there are height restrictions in places. People
with limited mobility are advised to book the
downstairs room (Bedroom 2) as the access to the
upstairs room is an original but uneven short wooden
staircase.
There are two
private parking spaces for visitors. Storage space
can be provided for bicycles, fishing rods, etc.

oak beams brought from the shipyard at Bucklers
Hard. Formerly two estate cottages it has great
character and history.
Close to the New
Forest, the position of the cottage is ideal for
walkers and cyclists wishing to explore the many
attractions in the area as well as being just a few
minutes walk to the Motor Museum and Palace House.
Bucklers Hard on the Beaulieu River is a half hour
walk from the cottage.
There is
one twin bedroom and one 6ft double which can be
converted to two singles. A three course English
breakfast is served in the dining room, or weather
permitting in the garden. |
