Fernhill Hotel was built c.1850 and at that time would have had stunning sea views over the fossil hunting beaches of Charmouth and Golden Cap – now with charming woodland surrounding the Hotel.  Built for an ex-patriate Indian Army Colonel it has been a hotel for at least the past 70 years over which time this beautiful building has been developed into the haven of relaxation and tranquillity it is today. Within Dorset's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bakers Mill Farm nestles in the lush green and peaceful river Axe valley surrounded by the rolling hills and picturesque villages of West Dorset.

The working farm dates from  the early 1600's and is a haven for wildlife. You may see rabbits, foxes, badgers, and deer. The deer are not shy and you can often see them grazing near the cottages.  Heron, geese, ducks and buzzards can be seen and there are many species of smaller birds on the farm, ideal for those of you interested in bird watching. During the summer swallows and house martins will be flying all around the cottages. Water voles and otters have recently inhabited the farm.

One Coram Tower is new to the holiday market for 2008, it is a beautiful apartment in an imposing stone built Grade II listed building overlooking the sea in Lyme Regis.

The building has a main entrance shared by all 10 apartments with 1 Coram Tower having an additional separate private entrance.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms, bedroom 1 with a super-king Vi-spring bed and bedroom 2 with luxurious divan sprung base twin beds, there is one bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Smugglers Cottage, situated in Ferndown, is over 400 years old, and, as its name suggests, was frequently used by smugglers many years ago who had landed at Poole Harbour as a waypoint on their journey to the mainland. Smugglers Cottage at Ferndown was one of many such places along the south coast.

Concealed by woodland, the cottage was the perfect place for smugglers to meet, drink, share and fight without disturbance from others who may be less inclined to agree with their practices.

The cottage was featured in the BBC Home & Gardens magazine, and many of the older timbers are aptly from a shipwrecked Spanish galleon, at St. Albans. After many years in the sea, the wood has absorbed the sea salt and is now as hard as ebony.
