‘The Old Dairy’
is set in the heart of the Welsh countryside with
outstanding natural scenery in every direction.
Built in the early 1900’s by the Lord and Lady
Lisbon as a milking house for their herd of cattle,
the building has a history and character like no
other.
The grade 2
listed building has been lovingly converted over the
past two years with many original features still
present. The cottages provide a very unique
opportunity to experience an unforgettable vacation.
Both the
‘Hawthorne’ and ‘Chestnut’ cottages are cosy yet
spacious over two floors, where modern design and
furnishings complement antique surroundings. Each
cottage has access to its own private patio area
with table and chairs, ideal for revelling in the
peace and quite of the grounds. There is ample space
for 3 cars outside each cottage.
Set in the
grounds of the Trawsgoed Mansion in Trawsgoed The
Old Dairy benefits from extensive local bridleways,
footpaths and cycle paths (we are located on the
Ystwyth Trail long distance cycle path) that are
excellent for exploring the scenic local area.
Whether you are looking for a romantic walk, quality
horse riding or cycling, the local surroundings has

area of mid Wales will so enchant you with its
gentle mountains and unspoilt coastline (Aberaeron
18 miles) that we are sure that you will leave Pant-Teg
and its surrounding areas with a keen desire to
return (proof in our guestbook!).
Pant-Teg
(fair/beautiful hollow), originally a hill farm
dating from about 1850, rests within 4 acres of
south facing gardens with the B&B house and Cottages
positioned in such a way that everyone has their own
private space and yet can enjoy either exploring the
gardens or relaxing on any one of the numerous
benches, listening to the birdsong whilst taking in
the magnificent valley views. |

is in a village location of a dozen or so homes well
away from main roads, only half a mile from Cei Bach
Beach and a mile and a half from New Quay.
ACCOMMODATION -
3 bedrooms sleeping 2- 6. There is one double
bedroom upstairs with a four-poster bed and a
television and another bedroom with a small (4ft)
double bed. The third bedroom is downstairs with
twin single beds. All bed linen and kitchen tea
towels are provided - but not towels for the
bathroom. The bathroom is also downstairs. |

floor the accommodation consists of three double
bedrooms, three family rooms, two twin rooms all
with en suite facilities and two spacious single

guests into Heulwen Bed and Breakfast. The ethos is
to provide a relaxing, peaceful and convenient
accommodation for all guests whilst they explore the
beautiful surrounding area.
Heulwen, Welsh for
sunshine, is a Victorian property, which was once
Borth’s bank of yesteryear. The property has
recently been refurbished to accommodate guests in a
comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Heulwen is
positioned some 50 meters from the Cambrian Railway
Station and has fantastic views over Cors Fochno (Borth
Bog) with the Cambrian Mountains as a splendid
backdrop. The property is situated only a stone
throw from the sea.
Facilities
We ensure that all our guests feel relaxed with home
comforts, Families with children are welcomed. We
have spacious family accommodation that incorporates
a dining area; a comfortable lounge and
well-positioned sleeping arrangements.
All rooms are equipped with modern provisions such
