From every bedroom window there are beautiful views of either Melrose Abbey or the Eildon Hills.

We are also able to offer self-catering accommodation which includes private fishing. These two properties are just south of Hawick also in the Scottish Borders and details can be obtained through Dunfermline House.

Our luxury Bed and Breakfast Accommodation near Melrose, is in a beautiful woodland setting within easy reach of the Rivers Tweed and Leader where salmon and trout fishing are available. Centrally situated, Kirklands, a Georgian country house (circa 1730), is an ideal base to explore The Scottish Borders and beyond with Edinburgh and the coast less than an hour's drive. Melrose has a good selection of independent shops and restaurants.

We also have self catering accommodation at Kirklands Cottages The Stables cottage is set in a Victorian courtyard and has 1 double, 1 twin and 1 (small) childs bedroom. In addition it also has Kitchen, bathroom and sitting room.

Bridge house is located in the picturesque country of Hawick on the English Scottish borders. The property dates back to 1760 a time when Hawick was a resting point for travellers between Edinburgh and London and was originally a stable block for the old tower hotel (now a tourist information centre). At later date the stable was converted into accommodations for the turn of the century textile industry for witch Hawick was famous worldwide. Restructured again in the 90`s is now offering accommodations, a bistro` and beer garden. winning in 2009 an award from tourist visiting the town. The bistro with its panoramic windows over looking the river teviot, is open all day during the week and a night also at week-end and is the place to enjoy while having breakfast. We have10 bedrooms all en suite with tea and coffee complimentary tray .

We would be delighted to welcome you to Hundalee House - a large Historic Manor House set in approximately 15 acres of secluded woodland and gardens.

We have been here doing Bed & Breakfast for 23 years and we love the place and firmly believe that it should be shared with others. The house is decorated in a charming Victorian style but with all modern facilities

Hundalee has had several distinguished owners. The kitchen displays the marriage stone of the 4th Lord of Jedburgh Robert Kerr and his wife Dame Christian Hamilton, their initials entwined and dated 1667.

Hizzy's is a totally refurbished former hotel, now re-opened as a guest house. Owners Frankie and Amanda have been in business together for 20 years, and this is a new and exciting venture for them.

Hizzy’s is named after Steven Hislop, who won no less than 11 Isle of Man TT victories, and who died in a helicopter accident in 2003.

At Ettrickvale you are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome. We are a small, family run business situated on the outskirts of Galashiels but only about 10 minutes walk to town centre and all local amenities.

Recently refurbished to a high standard, our accommodation consists of 2 twin rooms with en-suite and 1 double bedded room with private bathroom. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, TV and are centrally heated. All rooms are on the ground floor and therefore easily accessible to able bodied and disabled visitors alike.

Evening meals/packed lunches are available by prior arrangement. Off street parking.
